“Raphael,” Caelyn smiled. “Pleasure to see you again.”
“Well, hello,” Light greeted with a smile. “Always nice to see a new face. How’re you?”
“Well, if it isn’t my favorite sleepy Sin,” Caelyn said with a smile. “Where have you been snoozing?”
It had certainly been absolute ages since he’d seen the Sin. It had been ages since he’d seen most of the people he knew. He really had to work on that.
“A crypt with the rest of the undead.” she answered bitterly. Once again no one ever just said hi anymore. Letting out a sigh she turned blind eyes to the being and shrugged her shoulders in surrender.
“And yourself? Have you tired of following your brother around?”
Caelyn gave her a small smile before pulling her into a hug. “Well, it’s good to see you.” He hadn’t meant anything by his statement. It wasn’t a jab at her love of sleep at all. “I have not. I just know that there are times when I should just leave him be. He’s also found a rather good hiding place. Last I saw him, he was making his way out of Calcutta… Or the like.”

“Caelyn…” Lyra smiled, more than happy to see Light again. It had been far too long since the last time they spoke and Lyra was interested to see how he would react to her change. The vampire walked up to Light, wrapping her arms around the man. Not matter what happened with the vampire, she would always have a soft spot for Caelyn.He smiled more as he wrapped his arms around Lyra. He gave her a light squeeze, keeping his arms around her as he kissed her temple. “I hope you can forgive me for disappearing again. I know I’ve made a bad habit of it. I have missed you while I’ve been away though.” He pulled back slightly to look at her. “How’re you, love?”
Lyra smiled and buried her face in Caelyn’s shirt. It had been too long and the vampire missed his company. She inhaled his scent, a mixture of everything good in the world. She turned her head so her cheek still rested on him, “I’m…” Lyra didn’t know how to answer his question. She still was killing, even more than the last time they saw each other, and the blonde was different. “To tell you the truth, I’ve changed.” Lyra glanced up at Light, “Not for the better, Caelyn.”
The blonde hugged her gently when she buried her face in his shirt. He tilted his head to the side a bit at her response, meeting her gaze. She looked a bit worried about what she was telling him. Caelyn gave her a soft smile, kissing her forehead. “And what makes you say that?”
He wasn’t quite sure how to reassure her that though he might have been rather absent as of late; he was still here for her. No matter what changes she made.
He nodded, giving her a small smile. “Well, how about some target practice then? To blow off some steam? I know the perfect place…” He offered. Believe it or not, he and Oogie used to get along once. It was a very, very long time ago. So long ago that sometimes Caelyn believed he made it all up in his head. The place that he had in mind for Athena was where he would go with Oogie to just be some very rowdy and loud males.
“Do you now?” She stated, arching an eyebrow. “Is this like some secret Narnia place where we have to step into a wardrobe to get there?” The detective teased, biting her lip lightly.
He laughed a bit at her teasing, smiling brightly at her. He moved so that he could place an arm around her shoulders. Stretching his other arm out in front of him, he moved his hand from left to right slowly as he said: “It’s a far off place. Filled with absolute wonder.”
Caelyn gave her another smile as he lowered his arm to his side. “Unforunately, my dear ‘Thena, it’s nothing quite as fancy and magical as Narnia. I do hope you’ll find it to be what you need. Up for the trip?”
“Well, I hope I’m not about to be in the line of fire…” Caelyn joked lightly. She did look rather pissed.
“You don’t irritate me. You’re safe.” She muttered, stuffing her hands in her jacket pockets and blowing a strand of hair from her face. Maybe she should go find a target; an apple, a fence post, someone’s hat. Anything.

Sphinx
The sphinx is the giant riddle-spouting monster from mythology that has ghr body of a lion, the wings of an eagle, and the head and breasts of a women. This character must be female. She enjoys speaking in questions and can transform into her sphinx form whenever she wants, though with discretion. In her human form, she would be able to grow lion claws.
Leviathan
The leviathan is a massive sea serpent who is rumored to be able to circle the entire globe with his size, though we’re scaling him down a bit for practicality. He must be male and is considered to be the gatekeeper of the underworld. He can transform into a large serpent and his eyes glow in that form. He wants to eat everything.
Nemean Lion
The Nemean lion is a monster who did battle with Hercules in Greek legend. In both his lion form and his human he is immune to mortal weapons. He can turn into his golden lion form and as a human he can grow claws that can cut through any armor.
Were-Beast
The were-beast is a shapeshifter who can change back and forth between human and animal form at will, as well as a halfway form. They can be either male or female and can pick the predator that they can change into. Transforming more than once in a short amount of time is draining. They have no power in their human form, but their animal form is bigger and stronger than the normal animal. (A few choices - bear, wolf, eagle, hawk, fox, lion, tiger, cougar, snake, crocodile, owl, alligator, etc.)
Cerberus
Cerberus is the three-headed dog who acts as the guardian of the underworld. He must be male. He is immune to fire and can teleport himself to the underworld at any time. In his human form he can split into three identical parts, though he can only turn into his dog form when they are combined.
Chinese Dragon
The Chinese Dragon can be male or female and keeps its soul in a pearl that it always keeps with it. If the pearl is destroyed, so is the dragon but as long as it is whole the dragon can always be reborn. It can fly in dragon and human form without wings, transform into a dragon, and can grant small wishes (like “I wish I had a sandwich”).
Quetzalcoatl
The quetzalcoatl is a legless, rainbow-colored serpent. It must be male and it can transform into its serpent form at any time. The quetzalcoatl can grow rainbow wings in its human form and it can also control the winds in either human or serpent form.
Minotaur
The minotaur must be male. He is enormously strong in either form, can change at will, loves vegetables, and isn’t very smart. He is very good at mazes though, and can never get lost.
Phoenix
The phoenix can be either male or female. When they die, they are reborn into the same body. They an grow flaming wings in their human body and are immune to fire in both forms.
Teumessian Fox
The Teumessian Fox must be male. He cannot be trapped or captured, but has a fear of dogs. He lives in the stars where Zeus cursed him to dwell, and he likes to hunt down and eat criminals. He can transform into a giant fox at will.
“Well, I hope I’m not about to be in the line of fire…” Caelyn joked lightly. She did look rather pissed.
The Apocalypse nears, but not without the remaining Horsemen. The diseased Pestilence and starving Famine are missing among the elite ranks of the ever-destructible Horsemen.

“Ah, you’re all coming out to play now, hm?” Light said with a smile. “It’s been a while, Envy. How’re you?”
“Oh I’ve been good. Was away but I’ve returned.” Envy smiled at him eyes flitting up and down his form. “How’ve you been?”
He gave a small shrug as he kept his smile. “Been away for a bit myself, but I’ve been alright. I’m glad to hear that you’ve been well. I’m sure the others are happy to see you’ve made your return?”
“Hello Lyra. It’s been a while,” Light smiled softly. His brother missing had really hit him hard over the past few months. Worse than it usually did. Darkness was still around, but somehow, it was as if he’d faded a little.“Caelyn…” Lyra smiled, more than happy to see Light again.
